Premier Has Achieved Tripple ISO Certification
We are excited to share that Premier Cranes & Rigging has achieved a triple ISO accreditation. In addition to ensuring higher levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality management systems, these certifications allow us to meet tender requirements for quality, environmental & management systems.
What are ISO Certifications?
ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) certifications are a form of quality assurance that a company meets industry standards. More specifically, ISO certifications are provisions of approval by a third-party body that the product or service in question meets certain international standards for quality, safety, or environmental management systems in order to improve customer satisfaction.
How to achieve an ISO certification?
Obtaining an ISO certification involves undergoing audits and assessments to ensure that the organisation’s systems and processes meet the requirements of the relevant standard. Following a gap analysis, certification documentation, and developing and implementing relevant management systems, we are pleased to share that Premier has been recognised with a tripe ISO accreditation for the following standards.
Premier Cranes & Rigging ISO Certifications
Following a gap analysis, certification documentation, and developing and implementing relevant management systems, we have been recognised for the following ISO standards:
Premier Cranes is ISO 9001:2015 Certified – Quality Management Systems
This international standard specifies the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). Essentially it requires Premier to identify customer needs and establish relevant policies and procedures for quality management and evaluating performance. It aims to enhance customer satisfaction by meeting their objectives and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements through the consistent application of appropriate processes and procedures.
Premier Cranes is ISO 14001:2015 Certified – Environmental Management Systems
This standard outlines the requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). Achieving this certification required Premier to implement processes to systematically manage environmental impact and commitment to continually improving performance in that area. The intended outcomes of an environmental management system include:
- Enhancement of environmental performance
- Fulfilment of compliance obligations
- Achievement of environmental objectives
Premier Cranes is ISO 45001:2018 Certified – OH&S Management System
A testament to our commitment to safety is our recent ISO 45001:2018 certification. This international standard specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. It provides a framework for Premier to manage and control OH&S risks and improve safety performance by proactively improving our OH&S policy. This helps reduce the likelihood of on-site accidents and breaches of legislation while giving our clients confidence that we are taking all necessary steps to ensure everyone’s safety on the job.
The intended outcomes include:
- Continual improvement of OH&S performance
- Fulfilment of legal requirements and other requirements
- Achievement of OH&S objectives
However, meeting the requirements set by ISO for each accreditation is only one part of the equation. Whereas, maintaining the ISO standards long-term is a true testament to a company’s commitment to quality management systems.
Therefore, Premier is required to implement ongoing improvements and will be regularly audited by industry bodies internally and externally to ensure the processes remain compliant with the relevant ISO certification and help identify continual improvement process opportunities.
