CHALLENGES: To build the LR 1350 in the most efficient way possible to have it up and working as soon as possible. In this configuration, S2DB with 66m of boom, it required 24 truckloads (plus a float) worth of parts, counterweights, and boom sections.
OUTCOMES: Detailed planning and a highly experienced team of crane and rigging experts who worked together to get this monster of a crane constructed and ready to work within 2 days. During the project, it will lift precast concrete beams with a weight of 67t up to 42m distance.
