CHALLENGE: This job presented a number of challenges as a result of its busy location in the Melbourne CBD. Located alongside high rise buildings, work on the Langham hotel also had to take into account pedestrians, basement considerations and safe traffic management.
OUTCOMES: In addition to adhering to all legislative requirements and providing safe, practical solutions to the above challenges, Premier used a Fly-Jib on the 220T Liebherr to work down 76 metres in-between two buildings to replace glass and complete the job.
