Project Overview

Funded under the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS), this project provided for an additional 311 beds for students studying at Deakin University’s Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus. The project involved the construction of four individual accommodation buildings over a 2HA site.
With approximately 360 tonnes of steel and over 5000 steel members, the completed facility will have extensive landscaping to interconnect the buildings and to provide links to the main university campus. Construction commenced in September 2012 and was completed in December 2013.
