Project Overview
CHALLENGE: With the steel structure having reached Hold Point One, completing the remaining roof structure, including 2 x 8.4T modules, at a height of 43m was far from straightforward. Premier had to come up with a cost effective plan, utilising the 200T Liebherr crane that was already on site.
SOLUTION: Our team of skilled engineers calculated the precise location that would enable both roof modules (and all remaining infill sections) to be installed with one set-up, avoiding the costs and lost time associated with relocating the crane. Checking calculations via Trimble Connect 3D software, AUTOCAD and Kranxpert, our in-house planning team confirmed and re-confirmed data in collaboration with the client, Hutchinson Builders, to enable lifting to be safely executed up to 89% capacity.
